Lemon Drizzle Cake

Calling all lemon lovers.  This Lemon Drizzle Cake is the perfect bake for anyone who loves lemon in desserts or cakes.  This cake uses the whole lemon.  The zest is used in the cake and the lemon juice is used to make the lemon sugar syrup and the lemon icing.  You will definitely enjoy the lemon flavour right throughout the whole cake. A slice of this Lemon Drizzle Cake is lovely for afternoon tea or just because you love a slice of cake packed with lemon flavour.  It's so easy to make and the perfect cake to share with others without it being too sweet. Strawberry Jelly Slice

I've always wanted to make a jelly slice but never got around to making it.  I was looking through some recipes I saved awhile ago and come across an image of a jelly slice.  I think it was a sign for me to make it and so I did. This strawberry jelly slice is so delicious. It has a biscuit base, followed by a creamy lemon middle layer and a smooth jelly top. It was enjoyed by everyone and I have already had requests for more.  This slice is fun to make and not only does it look visually appealing but it tastes so good.  I can't believe I waited so long to make it.  It's definitely a new favourite.
