Lemon Drizzle Cake

Calling all lemon lovers.  This Lemon Drizzle Cake is the perfect bake for anyone who loves lemon in desserts or cakes.  This cake uses the whole lemon.  The zest is used in the cake and the lemon juice is used to make the lemon sugar syrup and the lemon icing.  You will definitely enjoy the lemon flavour right throughout the whole cake. A slice of this Lemon Drizzle Cake is lovely for afternoon tea or just because you love a slice of cake packed with lemon flavour.  It's so easy to make and the perfect cake to share with others without it being too sweet. Chocolate Toffee Cookies

I've been wanting to bake cookies with caramel pieces in them for awhile now.  I thought that toffee chews would be great to add to cookies.  Also, I've seen lots of cookies with sea salt flakes on them and want to add some to my cookies too. I decided to make chocolate toffee cookies with a sprinkle of sea salt flakes. These Chocolate Toffee Cookies were so delicious straight from the oven. The chocolate pieces were all melted and the toffee was gooey.  The cookies were crispy on the edges, soft in the middles and have a sprinkle of sea salt flakes to balance out the sweetness. I would highly recommend placing the cookies into the microwave for a few seconds before eating so the toffee is soft.  However, they still taste delicious when the cookies are cool.  The toffee is then a little bit chewy.
