Berry Galettes

I have wanted to make these rustic looking pastry desserts called galettes for awhile now.  Today, I finally got around to making them.

These Berry Galettes are simply delicious.  They are made from a sweet pastry dough which is light and flaky. The filling consists of a range of juicy berries such as raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries.

Making the sweet pastry is worth the time as the result is so amazingly delicious.  Although, you can use commercially purchased pastry as well.  I highly recommend making this pastry as it's quick and easy.

9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool on tray for 5 minutes.
